TIPS ON HOW TO STORE YOUR
FRESH MILLED BREAD
SHORT-TERM STORAGE
We recommend storing your bread for 3-5 days on the kitchen counter at room temperature in a bread bag, air-tight container, or a bread box.
For optimal freshness, please consume your sourdough bread within 1-3 days. Our sourdough and baked goods do not contain any preservatives.
Our Super Soft loaves will keep a bit longer. The high acidity of honey (avg. pH 3.91) helps inhibit mold growth in bread which can extend its storage time for a few more days.
LONG-TERM STORAGE
Wrap in parchment paper and place into a gallon-size zip-lock bag.
Store in the freezer for up to 6 months.
Sourdough is known to freeze very well. The flavor and texture will not be compromised. When you are ready to enjoy the bread, simply place on the counter to thaw.
You can also reheat in a 350 degree oven for about ten minutes.
*We recommend slicing your loaf beforehand for easy grab-n-go toast.
